I'm sorry to disagree with these terrible stories. I have nothing but good things to say about Children's house. My niece and nephew both went there and graduated and my sister still uses them till this day. I decided to put my daughter at Children's House, she graduated and I wish I could've let my son go and start his education there. The owner is wonderful and really cares about what goes on, and the kids that go there. It was so good actually, that I decided to work there myself. I saw everything that went on, watched the owner, the workers, the activities, everything. Just like everywhere else, there were issues, but they were taken care of - there is NO business that is perfect. I got a better job for myself and still left my child in their care. I trusted them whole heartedly with her. My child is now enrolled in kindergarten and getting ready for first grade. I spoke with a teacher at her school and they told me that they could tell by the way certain kids behaved in school that they went to Children's House verses other day cares/child facilities. The comments here that are rated bad, have no idea what actually happened out of their sight. They should have done a little more investigating instead of just blaming someone for issues that they did not see personally. I give them a 10 star rating.
The employees here are physically & emotionally abusive towards the children. There is also a current child who fondles and abuses the other kids while the workers look away. Would not recommend.
There is terrible story’s on Facebook exposing them for mentally abusing children and flipping them off teaching them inappropriate things as the middle finger. Making children sit by themselves at snack time and lunch time because they’re unprofessional. Standing outside the bathroom door while kids go pee and Turning off the bathroom lights while children are in there to scare them. Seriously needs there license revoked.
My son was in their after school program he only had to be there a couple of hours. The director called and told me to come pick my son up that he was acting up I told her to give me 20 minutes to inform my supervisor at work she instead called social workers and police instead of waiting. When I came to get my son I had been informed that a worker there the assistant director had hit my son in the face.
I have sent all 3 of my children to Cahamas. My 2 youngest are still there, 2 years old and 10 weeks old. My oldest went there from 18 months until kindergarten. Not one single time have I had any concern or worry for the safety of my children. They are excellent and trustworthy. My children are happy being there. Absolutely recommend Childrens House Montessori School.
They do great with my daughter. She started at 6 weeks old and is now 2 moths old. I plan on keeping her there up until kindergarten. They are all very polite and the kids love them.
