Love everything about this daycare. Teachers are awesome and love the kids. The owner Debbie couldn't be nicer, more responsible and more dedicated.
We have had our oldest son in two other daycares in the area and nothing compares to this experience. It is by far the best selection we have made and both of our kids love going to daycare every day. They learn to respect others, to take care of their world and the environment plus they learn thru experiences and great learning tools.
My son has been in this day care almost 2 yrs. we have had minor incidents through the 2 years, such as coming home to change my 18 month old and his onsie and diaper were full of rocks that were stuck to his privates bc they werent watching what he was doing on the playground. But last week took the cake. I picked my son up at 3pm. I walk in to chaos. 20 kids in the classroom and 1, yes!, 1 teacher. 3 kids piled on top of one little boy who is screaming n crying, the teacher was changing another little boy on the floor of the classroom and then 3 other kids crying. I pulled the pile of kids apart. I grabbed my child and asked Rachel if she was the only one there. She said YES! That the “other lady” had to go to the ortho. I called Rachel later to make sure she was okay and asked her to have her boss call me. Boss never called. And I called and made a complaint with the state. I ran into her boss on Tuesday and spoke with her then. She basically was telling me there isnt anything she can do bc she cant call parents and tell them they cant bring their kids in and she refuses to just put warm bodies in the classroom. She said all the trachers are scared to return with covid. Said she doesnt like people with piercings and tattoos. I told her if ever the situation gets like that to let me know and I will have my child picked up so he doesnt end up being the kid on the bottom of 3 others. She called me later Tuesday afternoon telling me she would drop a check in the mail and sever ties with me. I asked her if she was punishing me or my son? What did we do? It’s not our fault she is illegally running her daycare. She then said she would let me decide. So we left him in bc my son loves Rachel. And we intended to leave at open enrollment in January. She then calls me today and says she didn’t think I really called the state and that I was lying. So since the state came and established I wasnt a liar, she removed my child from the daycare today. I am not upset for me. I am upset for my child. And I think it’s bull crap that if u bring to light a situation that clearly needs addressed that instead of Debbie fixing it, she just removes you. Do yourself a favor! Go some where else! They are just a glorified baby sitter here. There are cheaper daycares that actually teach the children nearby. Dont give this lady a dime of your money! And they are lying about their hours. They claim they have to close at 5 bc the state mandates them to sanitize. Yet every other daycare is open for their normal hours. And I drive by at 5:45 and no one is there.
