Description: Our mission is to partner with Department of Education and local schools in the New York City Area and prepare children to become future leaders. We provide parents with support and the tools they need to teach their children and allow them to receive the best education possible. CAPA believes parents play an integral role in child’s education and endeavors to assist parents in understanding the school system and educate them about the importance of having a strong partnership between home and school.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.

CAPA at 244 needs a better director. Devon is very obnoxious and tries to manipulate the children to thinking they are wrong. My daughter was bullied and got physically abused by a boy in this camp. Mr. Devon had the audacity to tell my child that it was a game. I fail to understand how hitting my daughter was a game. I have not received an apology or any confirmation that my daughter will not be bullied again. Do yourself a favor and do not go to this 244Capa. My child has been with Capa for 5 years, 3 wonderful year at PS 120 CAPA and 2 years at PS 244. They are definitely ran by 2 different people, I never had an issue at PS120.
