I can't say enough about Bubbling Brook! We started here with our first 2 boys when they were in early preschool and toddler. We had been in other centers before and were happy with the care they received, but it doesn't compare to the education and care at BB.
They were so great to work with us when our oldest was having some behavior issues and wanted to support us as parents to do what was best for our son.
What has brought them from great to outstanding is how they went above and beyond for our third child. He has some medical complexities and when I inquired whether they would be able to care for him, there wasn't even a hesitation. He had a feeding tube as well as oxygen needs and they were happy to take our littlest one and care for him so, so well. He has absolutely thrived in the environment they provide and the care and compassion for him couldn't be matched anywhere else. I never felt like I was putting my much more fragile child at risk by sending him to BB.
Is it worth the drive? 1000% yes. The care and education my children have received here has been unmatched and I am so thankful for their care.
My kids have been going to Bubbling Brook since 2013. I’m very disturbed by the recent post I reviewed on 4/11/18, and DISAGREE with it entirely. I have nothing but positive things to say about the teachers here, facility, happiness and learning that Bubbling Brook provides. My kids have learned so much about being kind to each other, singing of songs, understanding of Jesus, praying before meals and being great full. All the teachers here at Bubbling Brook are kind, loving, compassionate and really treat and lead children as if they were their own. In the 5 years my kids have been going here, I’ve never once had any teacher yell or be disrespectful to my kids before. My kids can’t wait to go to school in the morning and give the teachers hugs. All of the teachers have been very encouraging and interactive with my kids. The projects they do each day are so neat and are incredible ideas to ensure my kids are having FUN while learning at the same time. My kids enjoy creating these projects indivually or as a group. It’s so amazing to see their imagination really grow and expand with the variety of learning objectives they complete each week. My kids are in the preschool room and both of the main teachers in this classroom are amazing! In addition to the rest of teachers in both the Toddler and Infant room. Each day I drop off my kids, I’ve never had one worry about the care my kids are receiving throughout the day. Their gym and outdoor play equipment are wonderful! Bubbling Brook also provides excellent, healthy, balanced meals for kids. In addition, to their accommodating schedule changes and hours of working parents. Keep up the outstanding job, teachers!!! I’m in full support of sending your child to Bubbling Brook!!
I would advise avoiding this center entirely. My child experienced verbal and emotional abuse from some of the providers. Most of the providers appear clearly incapable of caring for children with compassion. There are two lovely women who I hope find a gentler setting to care for children. My child developed behavioral problems which appeared directly related to his experience there. The other children were taught to identify my child as "good" or "bad" seemingly without consideration for how damaging that would be emotionally. I had the support from a child psychologist that my child was negatively affected by the care there. His behavioral problems did not occur out of that setting and appeared directly linked to specific preschool providers. I had to speak up with concern when I learned the newly hired director had a felony criminal record. Fortunately, the board for this center was willing to listen to me unlike the leadership who declined to return my call. I have observed some of the teachers yelling at the children on many occasions which was very unsettling. My older children would often complain about the irritability of many of the providers. I watched one of the providers intentionally provoke my child to become angry and let me know it was to prove a point about his behavior. I would strongly encourage families to review the compliance reports and investigative memorandum for this center if you are considering enrollment. We were also regularly overcharged for services that weren't even available for use. As parents, we put in considerable time and effort to help our child overcome his challenges with much success. He is no longer attending that center and is doing very well. It pains me to even have to give 1 star rather than none.
I have used this center for two years. The infant room is great. The lead teacher is wonderful with the babies and it was the first time I ever felt comfortable leaving my infant with a childcare provider. The toddler room has also been wonderful. the teachers are well trained. They communicate very well with me regarding day to day activities. My preschooler has done very well. She is all ready meeting developmental goals through kindergarten which I credit to the teacher there. The lead teacher is professional and quiet in nature, but very loving toward the children and great in working with parents. We are very blessed to have this center to serve the community.
Bubbling Brook has been a blessing to our family. We have unusual schedules and they have always been flexible. Their teachers are knowledgeable in teaching as well as life. They have great advice for parents and are very encouraging. The activities I have seen my two children bring home, look like my children enjoyed creating them. Their activities seem to be right at the developmental level of my toddler and preschool child. They seem to be well organized and the fresh new space is so welcoming to our family. I highly recommend this smaller center to any family looking for a loving atmosphere and staff to care for your precious child.
i was not happy at all with the care they were giving my child. i felt like they just were thier to play and the staff members i saw would never be on the floor with the children. they did not do alot of lessons that were for the childs overall well being., the preschool teacher was very cold person and not really liking the children she was very strick and not loving at all i have seen. the director is one that should not be one she is all over the place and not get things done when they needed to be i had to chase her down to get things answered and she was alwasys late on billing. she was not really into the children to she would be on her computer all the time and not interact with the kids i pulled my son out of there as soon as i was seeing changes in his behavior at home due to the staff and director......
