I have been a child care provider for almost 15 years. I have experience in children from 6 weeks and up through after school care. I enjoy teaching children and working with parents on what their expectations are while their children are in my care. I offer full and part time availability and try to work with parents who have flex schedules. I provide nutritious meals and snacks for the children as well as a clean and safe environment for them. I have many references and several classes in child care including CPR, Infant Safety, Potty Training, Sun Safety, ADD, Principles of Child Growth and Development, Responding to Challenging Behaviors, Separation Anxiety, Children with Allergies, both Environmental and Food, Transitioning into Preschool, Children with Disabilities, and several other classes throughout my 15 years of experience. I have 2 grown children of my own. One is a graduate from Depaul University and working and living on her own. One who is a junior at Illinois State University in Normal. I have been a cheerleading coach in the past and active with my children in their sports when they were young.
