Description: Located in the Park Cities close to SMU in Dallas, The Community School of the Park Cities offers parents and their children a child care experience unlike any other in our area. We are a small, homelike school where children enjoy a loving, caring environment with small classes and low teacher-to-child ratios.
The Community School practices Relationship Centered Child Care where the children remain with the same teacher for one year to eighteen months. This fosters a strong sense of self worth and security among the children. The curriculum is individualized based on each child’s needs, interests, and developmental level. Each child is transitioned from room to room as he or she is ready and in a way that makes them feel comfortable going to the next room. All of our teachers have years of childcare experience and many of our teachers are degreed in early childhood education or a related field.
