Responsible for the daily planning, management and supervision of the classroom and children. Generally, is assited in the classroom by an assistant teacher.
Ensure that appearance, cleanliness and safe environment of classrom are appropriately maintained
Communicates appropriat information to parents; maintains developmental profiles for children
Schedules and conduct parent and teacher conferences throughout the year
High school diploma required
Child development Associated required
Associate degree with 2 years of professional teaching experience
MA Teacher certified
Excellent skills in teaching, communicating, and maintaining positive relationship with parents, guardian, children and co-worker
Caring, compassionate , fun, creative and team player
Must be able to lift no less than 40 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the workday to at least waist high
