Afterschool Group Leader at For Kids Only Afterschool

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Overall responsibility for the day-to-day teaching and supervision of the children enrolled in the program
• To provide a positive, safe, fun, and memorable quality experience to all students and families involved in For Kids Only Afterschool & Summer Programs
• Participate as an active member of the FKO team
• Facilitate consistent communication between staff and families
• Encourage children to participate in all activities and realize their full potential
• Provide a physically and emotionally safe and fun environment for children to thrive in
  Lead by action and enthusiasm
• Strive to achieve FKO goals and operate with the character values and mission in mind
• Encourage children to accept and demonstrate positive values
• Lead by demonstrating positive character values
• Consistently incorporate the values of caring, honesty, respect, responsibility, and sportsmanship in all activities, discussions and interactions

• Must be 18 years old
• Must have experience working with school age children (5-14)
• Creative & fun personality to implement curriculum & activities
