We are looking for a qualified child care teacher working primarily with children 2 years old. This position is full-time or part-time (depending on your availability).
We are licensed by the State of IL and offer a unique preschool program for children, located in an entire lower-level of my home, strictly built for the school. You would be working with 1 other co-teacher in a classroom of 12 students.
Job Requirements:
*Meeting the basic needs of the children: feeding, changing, hand washing, comforting, etc.
*Implementing age appropriate curriculum and lesson plans.
*Maintaining a fun, safe and healthy environment.
*Meet & follow requirements of Licensing agencies.
*Daily report cards to parents.
*Interact with the children to support play, exploration, and learning.
*Communicate appropriately and professionally with parents and fellow co-workers.
DAYS: Vary upon need
HOURS: 7:20-5:00
PAY: $11-13/hr based on experience
Candidate MUST have a MINIMUM OF 1 YEAR EXPERIENCE of child care work in a licensed child care or teaching in a preschool setting.
Education: CDA or 12 ECE college credits required. Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education preferred.
