Job Title: Preschool Director
Overview:
We are a brand new Preschool in the process of opening soon! We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Preschool Director to join our team. As the Preschool Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our preschool, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow. This is a leadership role that requires strong management skills, strategic planning abilities, and a passion for early childhood education.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the preschool's operations, including curriculum development, staff supervision, and facility management
- Provide leadership and guidance to teachers and support staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with licensing regulations and industry best practices
- Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for children
- Collaborate with parents to address their concerns, provide updates on their child's progress, and promote parental involvement in the preschool community
- Conduct regular staff evaluations and professional development opportunities to support continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Must be over the age of 21 years.
Must have a bachelor’s degree in early Childcare Education.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Must have taken 48 hours of a 12-semester course in a childcare related.
Proven experience in education administration or related leadership role. Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to effectively manage a team and build positive relationships with staff, parents, and community members
Demonstrated ability in strategic planning and program development.
Must be Proficient in Word, excel and PowerPoint etc.
