Come Join the Work Family of Alice's Playground Center. Join the Director, Ms. Jeanette Absher, and others with your williness to love, care, nuture & enjoy working with children of all ages from birth to 85 yrs old, to be a postive model in a chid's life for at least 8.5 hours a day, five days a week, to be a serious & reliable employee and be able to follow the Center & State Policies & Procedures as well as be able to follow your lesson plans based on the themes of the month given to you by the center. If you can do all of this then this is what you will need.
Must have your High School Diploma and be willing to enroll in the Early Childood Creditial Class (EDU-119) or Have completed the EDU-119 Class and is working on getting the Early childhood Certificate.
You must have a Federal/State Background check done byYou must have a Federal/State Background check done by DCDEE of NC which includes fingerprints at Sherffifs Office. A physical, a recent TB-Test, and our packet of paperwork will also have to be completed before you can be hired. You will also have to complete health and safety training classes within the first 2 months. Then you must be willing to continue to your education of State required classes ( On-Line or in-person).
