The ideal candidate will be a caring individual who enjoys teaching young children with the ability to lift up to 30 pounds. You will have the flexibility to work any shift between 5:00 am and 6:00 pm and have reliable transportation to the Child Care center to ensure consistency for the infants.
HELPFUL BUT NOT REQUIRED:
Previous experience working in an ODJFS licensed child care center
Knowledge of the ODJFS Rules and Regulations
Knowledge of the Step Up To Quality program
Knowledge of the CACFP (Food Program)
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:
At Least 18 Years of Age
Minimum - High School Diploma / G.E.D.
Obtain a Medical Statement From a Physician
Complete and Pass a Background Check
Clean and Valid Driver's License - (You will be driving our bus to pick up children from school) and Complete a Driver's Training Course
Already Have or Quickly Obtain - CPR / First Aid Training, Communicable Disease Prevention Training, Child Abuse and Neglect Training
Have Patience for Children
Have a Passion for Working with Children
Dependable / Flexible
On Time and able to work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
