Duties:
*Love working with children and desire to make a difference.
* Monitor, play, teach and care for children in assigned to room.
* Create and follow developmentally appropriate lesson plans.
* Coordinate activities with other center staff.
* Keep appropriate records as determined by director and licensing requirements.
* Communicate with parents concerning child’s progress and activities and conduct parent/teacher conferences.
* Attend all required trainings and workshops.
* Keep room clean and in a manageable organized manner.
* Perform other related duties as assigned by the director.
Qualifications for Teachers:
* MUST be 18 years old
* Be willing to obtain training hours throughout the year
* CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
* Pass a Background Check/ Drug Screening Test and Fingerprinting
* Get a TB Test and Physical
* Applicants must be dedicated, self- motivated, energetic and love to work with children.
We are open Monday-Friday from 6:30am-6:00pm.
This is a great job for students, especially those going for education or early childhood degrees. We are flexible to those and willing to accommodate school schedules.
