Lightbridge Academy Garnet Valley is a brand new high-tech childcare facility that opened earlier this year. We are growing rapidly and we are looking for highly motivated staff to join our team! Our open position includes FULL-TIME and PART-TIME possibilities. FULL-TIME employment will include benefits, paid holiday and PTO time. The candidate will be working with one of the following age groups:
Toddlers
Mobile Infants
Infants
Pay is attractive and will be determined based on qualifications.
Prospective staff should be able to work Monday - Friday. Specific shifts will be discussed and determined during the interview and hiring process.
We are looking to fill in-class teaching positions. Depending on candidate's experience and qualifications the new hire would have a Lead Teacher or an Assistant Teacher status. To qualify for Lead Teacher status, applicants MUST have experience working with children for a minimum of 2 years, an Associate Degree, Bachelor's degree or CDA. To qualify as Assistant Teacher status, applicants MUST have experience working with children for a minimum of 2 years, a high school diploma (or GED),

Create and develop strong parent and staff relationships that result in high rate of retention and referrals
Maintain confidentiality in dealing with all company information including: policies, procedures, student, parent and staff records and conversations
Participate in open houses and in-house family events
Helps to ensure proper ratios are maintained at all times and substitute in classrooms if necessary

Fully understand and ensure proper implementation of the Lightbridge Academy curriculum by age group
Participate in staff meetings and workshops
Mentor new staff as necessary
Must understand and adhere to all state and local educational and licensing requirements, policies and procedures
Adheres to all Lightbridge Academy Franchise Company policies and procedures
Complete a minimum of 20 hours of ongoing professional development
Completion of CPR and First Aid certification
