Little Eggs Childcare is seeking a Lead Teacher to join our growing team at our Hanover, MD location. At Little Eggs Childcare, we strive to provide hands on development for the kids we care for! Our Mission is to provide child care in a safe, fun, and educational environment where children are prepared for success. We believe it is important to learn social and emotional skills as well as develop academically. Our center focuses on the individual needs of each child while providing these skills.
Responsibilities and Duties
Instruct infant/toddlers in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
Create a fun and safe learning environment
Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress
Maintain the health and safety of all students
Qualifications and Skills
Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields
Passionate about working with children
Ability to build rapport with children
Positive and patient demeanor
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
45 hour infant/toddler certification (preferred but not required)
90 Hour preschool certification (required)
ADA Certification (required)
Breastfeeding certification (required)
Health and Safety training (preferred but not required)
