School Age Child Care Teacher
Qualifications:
At least 18 years of age
High school diploma or GED
Meet training and experience requirements in one of the combinations approved by DCF as stated in the rules book
If working with Infants and Toddlers, must also have completed a course
Possess certificate from The Registry, verifying training requirements have been met.
Duties:
Lesson plans, implementing the plans
Label all food and bottles put in fridge
Maintain sink
Supervising daily activities for classroom
Maintaining classroom in orderly and clean fashion
Laundry every week
Bleach toys once a week at least
Professional/compassionate interactions with children and parents
Help train new staff – On daily duties in classrooms
Support all staff – cover absences when needed
Supervised by: Center Director
Must be working on or have early childcare qualifications.
