Zion Lutheran Preschool is searching for an experienced Director to oversee its preschool programs. The 12 month position would begin January 2016 and offers a competitive salary. The school is dedicated to providing an excellent preschool program for young children 2 to 5 years of age, enabling them to develop and grow in a loving and nurturing Christian environment.
Applicants must be committed to the educational ministry of Zion Lutheran Church, have a deep understanding of early childhood education and be able to implement the Preschool’s mission.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or closely related field with a minimum of 12 ECE credits
Five years experience working in a preschool or Early Childhood program as a lead teacher or director
Have current CPR/First Aid Certification and required Clearances
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Excellent communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Ability to understand and manage the complexities of a preschool program
Ability to establish and maintain good interpersonal relationships with parents, children, staff and Zion Lutheran Church
Proficiency in Microsoft Office including but not limited to Word, Excel and PowerPoint and accounting software such as Sage Peachtree.
