  • Ad Detail: Hello my name is Angel and I am offering up my skills and our charming home as a fun place for your kids to spend the summer during these challenging times while you go to a covid-careful work place like my husband does or to mindfully do your errands and shopping, like we do. Rest assured, we will have a fun day filled with organic wholesome food & snacks, gardening, tree climbing & homesteading, laughter & singing, handwork & stories, Free Play & Crafts, Cooking & Learning, Resting in and Listening to Nature while doing yoga and maybe even a bit of meditation together! We have chickens and the children enjoy taking turns collecting eggs and helping make them into breakfast, breads, or other baked goodies! We also have baby chicks that we are raising which will lay blue, green and olive colored eggs. We have a sweet holland lop bunny and three bearded dragons which stay in Vivariums in the kids rooms mostly. We are building a sand box currently as well. I have been an educator for over twenty years, earning my Early Childhood Teaching Certificate at the Call Child Development Center in Santa Rosa at the age of 17. I taught at many wonderful places such as the SRJC, YMCA and YWCA preschools and aftercare/sports programs, As well as a few privately owned schools such as Woodside West and Summerfield Waldorf School and Farm! I am a certified Waldorf Teacher graduating at Summerfield’s Center for Educational Renewal just after losing our house in the fire of 2017 in Coffey Park. I am also a Lifeways Alumni and I am Certified in Mothering Arts Group Leadership Training For mother and baby circles. My husband is a flooring contractor and installer and works alone in uninhabited houses or business mostly. He installs carpet, hardwood, tile, laminate etc. And he works 8am- 6pm most days. Then showers upon entry of our home, leaving shoes outside the home. *****(I am offering care from 8:30am- 5:30pm for One Family and taking a waiting list for later when I get my childcare lic. after things calm down a bit.)**** We have Three Amazing children, ages 8,7,& almost 3 years old. My children are sweet and helpful and very innocent still. They love ALL things nature and enjoy playing games with others. I believe in maintaining the magic of childhood and it shows in them. I have a small garden that continues to grow each season and we enjoy delicious fruits and veggies from it and our fruit and nut trees. {{I can provide a healthy breakfast, AM snack, Lunch, and PM snack.}} ***As we have nuts growing on our homestead, I want to warn any parent that might have a serious nut allergy as an issue.*** Because of the new Covid-19 Pandemic, I can only take One family at this time. It MAY expand to two families in the future, if I feel the risk factors are low enough. However, that would be a slower transition to see how things work out. We will be outside MOST of the time, in sun and shade and even light rain so I ask the children to dress appropriately with either sun hats, rain gear, long sleeve and short sleeve layers as it gets cool in Sebastopol mornings and tends to warm up significantly throughout the day. And of course bring a clothes bag filled with two changes of clothes as we love to play in mud and water throughout the day and accidents happen.
