A preschool/daycare I highly recommend is my wife Monica's because since 2003, she has helped kids become academic and social leaders (top of their respective classes.) She home schooled my daughter who is now a self driven straight "A" student, in leadership and aspires to go to Stanford. She also sings wonderfully, is physically fit, and is well balanced! Monica reads behavior book stories to re-direct undesirable behaviors like grabbing, being mean or not sharing. In fact, Paul Pederson from California State Licensing gave the school a great review by saying: "In all of my site visits to schools, I've never seen kids get along so well with one another." She is quick to gently teach and not quick to put people on time outs. (That's the last resort.) Her philosophy really is to teach 1st! She even provides home cooked meals. Clean, safe neighborhood with a park right across the street that the kids love! With a capacity of up to 8 and not 14 kids, quality, focused, less distracted preschool learning is ensured.
By combining Piaget, Montessori and Play Based methods, she captures the child's imagination and makes learning fun. Kids as young as the age of 4 have learned to read with her.
