In Space 1 where the children who were infants were located there were three (3) children in their cribs crying at the start of the facility observation and then again later at the end of the facility observation. There were three (3) staff in the classroom and ten (10) infant children, but no staff were attending to the needs of the children who were crying. One (1) staff member was feeding a child, the other was completing paperwork and the last was sitting on the floor. The children in the crib's needs were not responded to at the earliest opportunity as only one (1) of the two (2) staff members were busy caring for the children which would have delayed the response. | |||
