Description: Choosing the best childcare and early education for your child is a very important decision for the family. At Creative Care, we strive to make that an easy task. Once walking through our doors our sincere desire is that you will experience what many parents have experienced already, the love, warmth and caring staff and faculty whom you will entrust your child to from the moment you drop off your precious little one off to the time he or she is picked up.

Our faculty and staff are all experienced and knowledgeable in the difficulties of balancing the demands of work and family and each one stand ready to make that the smoothest transition possible for you and your child. At Creative Care we stand ready to make their day as positive, nurturing, enriching, and secure all while ensuring a fun packed day that is sure to make your child want to return day after day.Creative Care is located conveniently within city limits of the Town of Indian Trail. Our 8.88 acres campus is a gem in the rough. Future plans include a full size gymnasium, water park, playground with an amazing landscape designed to allow our children to explore the great outdoors and many more amenities to compliment family time together.

The depth of the loose surfacing was not based on critical height of the equipment. At the bottom of the slide in Playground #2 there was mulch, but the depth of surfacing material did not meet the required 6 inches.

Incident reports were not completed each time a child was injured, it did not include all the information required in rule, it was not signed by the parent and/or it was not maintained in the child's file. A child scraped their knee and although it did not bleed there was an abrasion, and the teacher cleaned the knee and put a band aid on it. An incident report was not completed at that time but during the visit it was completed and provided to the grandmother who picked the child up that day and she reported that she would provide it to the child's mother.

The log was not updated, per Administrator's report that due to the lack of understanding that the occurrence was required an incident report. The log was updated during the visit.

Center staff did not follow the EMC plan. The emergency medical care plan did not list the teacher, MM, who provided first aid for a skinned knee by washing and placing a band aid on the knee, as Person in center responsibility for determined the degree of care needed or persons in center responsible for giving first aid. This was corrected during the visit.

A safe indoor and outdoor environment was not provided for the children. On the large playground, field area, the fence at the far end beside the Elementary School building, the fence between the fence poles was loose leaving an area where children could crawl under or get their heads stuck. The gate beside the fence also was loose leaving the same area. The fence needs to be secured to ensure safety.
