I will also back up the negative review given by the previous poster. DOCK preschool is no longer a "Christian" establishment. According to my child's teacher, the bible lessons they supposedly receive during specials consist of a coloring sheet, with no actual lesson to give the children an understanding of the bible or it's teachings. Several of the staff dress inappropriately and carry on extreme lifestyles outside of work, consisting of infidelity, drug use, alcohol abuse, etc.
There are indeed a handful of quality teachers there, however, the majority of the staff employed are 19-21 year olds, especially the Character Kids employees, who are inappropriate in their actions, language, and music they play with children around who they are supposed to be good role models for.

As for the Director, Brandy Papin...she carries off the facade of being a Christian, however, does not treat people accordingly. The program has become all about the money it brings in, the alleged "prestige" of the program, and bragging about it having a huge waiting list. If you ever question the Director on any sort of issue, she will immediately write you off, and threaten you with filling your child's spot immediately. Every child and family is expendable to her. Many of these families who attend there are employed full-time and NEED the childcare, so they are forced to bite their tongues. She also lied to parents in regards to snow days. When questioned why we still had to pay tuition for those days, she informed several parents who asked, that she still pays her staff for snow days, which is untrue. Despite the accreditation process they are going through, the program is quickly going downhill, as it has gotten too large too fast, and they are unable to sustain QUALITY employees.

I have gotten to know several of my child's teacher's on a personal level, and they each have had the same opinion of their Director. She does not treat them with the kindness and respect they deserve. The only reason the quality employees stick around are because of the bond they have formed with the parents and children who attend there that they have grown to love and care about. It is those quality teachers that have given DOCK any of it's positive reviews. However, because of the way they have been treated at the Director's hand, several of them are planning to leave. One of the BEST teachers DOCK has ever had currently left due to how she was treated at the hands of the Director. When your quality teacher's start leaving, you definitely have to question what is going on in the program.

You will find numerous complaints from parents whose children have attended, or currently attend, who have been treated poorly by the Director. Her focus of the program is no longer about the children and what is best for them, nor about a Christian education. We will definitely NOT be re-enrolling.

As Director of DOCK Preschool I have decided, after much thought, to respond to the negative comment that has been placed on this site. First for the personal attack , I would like to say I have not had a Facebook page in over 3 years. Second as far as social settings I feel no need to respond to such outrageous acquisitions. But most of all for the attacks to my staff... both programs have leaders who range from College youth to adults, and all have nothing but love and compassion for the DOCK and Character Kid programs. They achieve levels of education each year in early childhood that goes above and beyond the requirements of DHS and Better Beginings.

I would like to add, that whoever wrote the article must be a child or not have spell check on their device. Their statements and thoughts were not well thought out and in my knowledge have no backing. In my 5 years I do not know of a family who has left our center due to any of the complaints that were stated. So the only conclusion I can come up with is that the entire statement is invalid.

Overall, DOCK has become one of the most sought after Childcare centers and I am sure this is due to our amazing staff and from Gods blessings.

advertises as a Christian establish, the only way they Get away with this is because they are located in a church. other than that, there truly are a handful of good teachers here. however the director is an open alcoholic who published racy photos on Facebook and is always leaving her children to drink. many of the workers here are avid drinkers and put smokers, college  kids run the after school program, many of them have colorful classless lifestyles as well. the good who work here always leave one they find a better place to work. I pulled my child after many" incident" reports and a clueless teacher. the staff is not add educated as the director claims, and they are over priced for what they offer. Facebook research the staff before placing your child in this facility.

Very Nice place. Committed Teachers - My child feels bored to sit at home now a days and wants to go to shool!

I love this place and would tell anyone to take their children there if needed! My child loves to go and asks me every morning if its time for school! What a wonderful group of people there are there!
