Findings: The Licensing Specialist observed that the provider's diapering pad was not secured to the diapering station and that the strap that holds the child in place was broken. The Licensing Specialist asked the provider and additional adult to not utilize the diapering station until the pad is secured and the strap is repaired. The additional adult explained that they were going to get rid of their diapering station completely. When the Licensing Specialist mentioned that the infants could be changed on the floor with an nonabsorbent pad, the additional adult said that is how she will change the infants' diapers from this day forward. Please notify the Licensing Specialist once the diapering station has been removed from the main child care space.
