| Findings: The area manager was made aware of an allegation that occurred between a staff person and student. The allegation was that staff, B.A., yanked a child by the left arm near his underarm area. The area manager has informed this office that B.A. has been terminated, the principal and guidance counselor were notified. The licensing specialist conducted separate in person interviews on site with staff, O.J. and K.Y., both who observed the incident. O.J. and K.Y. stories corroborated each other. Both stated they were on the stage and observed B. A. grab the child by his arm when he was walking across the room to go from one group to another. They both stated that staff, B.A., was walking the trash to the back of the room when her path crossed the child's, she grabbed his arm and told him to go back to the other group. Both staff said the child looked shocked, walked to the stage and sat down. O.J. called the child over and asked him what happened and he said that B.A. grabbed him by his arm and told him to go sit in the other group. O.J. asked if he was hurt and he said not really but kind of. The child did not cry but according to both staff was visibly upset. | |||
