From a previous employee who also had a child enrolled - just don’t. Kim is sweet and her heart is in the right place, but is the daycare a good place? No. Employees force children to finish cups of milk. They will sit holding a cup on the sidewalk until it’s finish. Not allowed to play until it’s finished. Forced to stay outside in the heat, employees discouraged from having inside days. Kids just sit in shade with water bottles because it is too hot to play. Sanitation is seriously slacking. The space in the room is a joke. I don’t understand how it passes Arkansas guidelines. Kids are cramped and don’t have room to play - this is why they are told to be outside. At nap time, employees will physically hold children down in their cots. Children are screamed at. I’ve seen children dragged. I watched two fellow employees push a child into a dark closet and shut the door because he was misbehaving. The employees don’t want to be there and that makes all the difference. Kids were called names by directors and employees. It felt like bullying. I remember the first time I was present for a DHS inspection and I thought for sure that we would be cited because I knew all the things we were doing wrong. No - the DHS inspector stood off with the director’s husband and chit chatted. The inspector never inspected anything. They were obviously buddy buddy. I never reported this center because of this fact and because I thought nothing would be changed. My breaking point was when I saw my child in the infant room be practically thrown back in to his cot by the teacher and I could see her yelling at him. It’s not a good place, even if they put on the nice smiles.
I have had my two boys here for over 2 years and we could not be more happy with this daycare! The owners are kind and my kiddos love them! I love that they let them be kids. The owners are very understanding and considerate.
My child has been attending Lily Pad for a year now and I can honestly say this is a great daycare! My husband and I have weird schedules, so we are known to pop in at random times and they are always taking wonderful care of the babies. It is very much a family atmosphere instead of a commercial feel, which I like. I honestly do not understand the negative reviews on here. My child does not drink milk either and we have never had an issue with it.
This place is horrible in most every aspect of a good daycare! The owner/guy screams at children and employees but nasty bathrooms and poor sanitation keep your kids sick. The poor kids are packed into such a small place. Who knows how this place passes DHS inspections?
Please do not take your kids here, they will force them to drink milk, to avoid Wasting it when the kid is full, they shouldn't have to sit in time out for hours to finish a cup of milk they do not want.
They put little babies on the floor and allow the toddlers to walk around in the same room which could cause serious injury to 3-6 month olds as toddlers are clumsy
Worst of all, they don't have a loving attitude toward your kids, especially the Man that works there, they Yell and yell at them.
This is the worst daycare in the Conway area!
This is the best place in Conway. I have been to at least 3 other centers and one in home daycare and this place tops them all. The staff is great. There is not a high turnover in staff and my children would love to go home with any of them. So if you are looking for a place that your children could call there second home, this is the place for you.
