A proper approach to discipline: Since children occasionally need discipline, it is important we share a similar philosophy so that your child does not become confused as to where the boundaries are and what is expected of him or her. Children are taught which behaviors are inappropriate and why, and are then given alternatives that are acceptable. In this way the behavior is being changed without making the child feel “bad” or unloved.

And I have recommended friends who is raving about the school the cleanest child care center I have ever seen and I visit about 8 before I pick smile preschool they are affordable every year these two center gets upgrade

I went to check the nursery on first avenue which is part of this daycare since I have been looking for nurseries in Hudson County. I got to tell you that I had a pretty bad impression of this one. First the smell inside resembles that of mold and dirty carpet, the people that work there seemed somewhat startled and appear to be acting somehow, there was a baby in the swing and the poor thing seemed that was there for a while already and she was babbling something and this young worker would just say "what? What?" to her, very little love there... I felt bad and then I left. I feel bad for those babies of parents who have to work and have no option other than to leave their babies there... I rather go on food stamps than to leave my child in such a place.
On the plus side, This nursery is less expensive than some alternatives like River School and Learning Ladders. The caregivers are very nice and were very attentive with my son.
On the negative side, the owner/administrator is unprofessional, dishonest and rude. Their bookkeeping is inconsistent to the point where they will take your check, neglect to cash it, then charge you a late fee for non-payment. When I pulled out my son I waited six months for them to return my deposit, and only after I threatened to take them to court.
Additionally, the toys could use an upgrade; they use a bathroom to store strollers, and the nursery is poorly ventilated.
