The Children's Place Early Care and Learning Center is an infant/toddler center specializing in the early care and education of young children six weeks through three years old.  Our staff have degrees and credentials that far exceed state licensing requirements and have extensive experience  with this age group. We are a program that is driven by hands on, developmentally approrpriate activites and curriculum for the specific children enrolled in our program.  We are a small and intimate center, and offer the best mix of at home and center based care and education that there is to offer.

This is a Montessori preschool for children aged 2 1/2 to 6 years. The environment has been lovingly prepared to allow children the freedom to explore the many educational activities. The curriculum focuses on Practical Life skills, Language Development, Mathematics and Sensorial Development. There are also opportunities to study Geography, History, Art, Music and Science. The focus of the school is on character formation and allowing each child the ability to follow the course of their natural development.

Our facility educates and cares for children ages 6 weeks through 6 years.  The center is set on two private secured acres on Church Road in northern Toms River. We offer a creative curriculum, indoor play room, awesome play grounds and a warm caring group of teachers.

The mission of this program is to provide all children from 3 year olds to 13 year old with a place to do their homework with the help of certified teacher’s, Para professionals and staff. It is to help provide a place where children can continue to learn and grow as individuals as well as in community. They will have opportunities to grow by sharing time with responsible adults and their peers for a well rounded life experience. We encouage volunteering by both the children and the parents. In today`s world, It takes a community to raise a child.

The Study Hall is open for before care from 6:30 AM to 9 AM and aftercare from 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM. We also offer daycare for half day kindergarten children and Pre-k. This service is offered at Our Lady of Mt Carmel at 267 E. Smith Street in Woodbridge. We kick kindergarten up a notch. We will transport your child between sites and schools. Rates are on website. We have our own transportation. We also provide full day care when schools are closed.
