If I could give this daycare negative stars I would. My 9 year old goes here in the summer. They force the older kids to lay in silence for 2 hours a day. They don't allow them to get water when they are playing outside in the heat! They abuse children and don't report it! The staff are rude and drama starters with parents! I have been treated like a criminal just trying to pick up my child! I hope this place closes down!
This is false advertising, because our child and several other children were mistreated in this daycare, this is a horrible place to leave your children, and the director of this daycare Vons child care, was just as horrible if a director and how she handled the whole situation, and would rather feel sorry for the teacher that was her friend, than she was worried about how the children were being mistreated by her friend!!!!! Do not trust these people!!!!
This place needs to be SHUT DOWN as said many times before and all teachers who knew need to be held accountable. It’s funny to me all these parents that want to take up for such a place. THE DIRECTOR (WENDY) IS ALLOWING IT TO HAPPEN WITH MINIMAL EXCUSES ABOUT (PAULA & THE YOUNGER GIRL WHO ALSO PUT HANDS ON A CHILD AND HER KNEE IN A CHILDS CHEST) THAT DON’T EVEN MATTER!!! If she will allow it to happen to those kids she will allow it to happen to any, including yours. If your child is special needs I’m assuming you probably have to pay more so they want that money and try to be extra careful or you just don’t know what they’ve done and hopefully your child is able to tell you if said happens. My biggest thing is THINK OF IT AS IT WAS YOUR OWN CHILD, because it very well could be soon enough if they’re not shut down. This director knows this woman has put hands on children before and knew about this one and made up excuses of why it was okay for the teacher to do it!!!! Are you kidding me WENDY?!?! Thank God PAULA (the abuser) excused herself before the place went down but she never deserved to be teaching if she was in such a bad state of mind anyway. I’m so thankful I was lucky enough to have a family member help me because this is where I was looking at also. I KNOW people who work here and are still in denial or just okay with it. It’s a SAD SAD world when grown adults can hit kids with a stack of paper or put hands on them and people take up for that person. Disgusting. #ShutThemDown until they no longer exist???????????? we’re not letting this slide!
They are the worse. Please don’t send your innocent children there. I have seen the directors and other teachers hitting and shoving children. The children look traumatized. I have also heard that they let this go on and no knowledge goes to parents. Please shut this daycare down
They neglected my child by not changing her diaper in 5 hours. They also put Mulch in her diaper an made her wear it until I picked her up. She busted her eye open an they gave two stories as to what happened to my daughter an gave me a run around about seeing the video. They never let me watch the video. My daughter was nonverbal an could not tell me about the incidents. Our first experience with a daycare was Vons kids an I trusted them at first but I will never again because I've experienced such bad care.
Everybody is talking about it needs to be shut down, there is teachers there that had nothing to do with this that don't deserve that. Every teacher my child has had has been great to her. She has a medical issue and when I tell u the teachers she has had has helped me get videos to help me with drs. Watched after my daughter like there on. They have been amazing with my kid. Just because of a couple people everybody shouldn't have to suffer.
Known cases of abuse which have been seen by video. One of the abused was family, and even if it wasn’t, who hurts a defenseless child. Whoever the two were in the video that put their hands on mine should identify themselves, it will be found out otherwise. For them, looking over your shoulder is the best bet. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN HERE!
My children had been going here for two years and a parent wanted to view cameras and found evidence and video footage of my child being shoved around and other children hit a month later and the director let her friend Paula Hill keep her job because she told me these exact words “she’s a good person a good teacher and I’ve known her for 17 years” it’s is so unacceptable to be a director at a daycare and you cover up mistreatment and abuse of children because this was your friend .! Your job is to protect and report abuse !!!!!!!!!!! You are just as sorry as the teachers who were doing it physically
This is a horrible place to leave your children, at Vons daycare, they were caught on camera abusing my 2-year-old grandchild, and he is not the only one, and the way the lady who supposedly running this daycare the way she handled the entire situation was extremely horrible and she has no business running a daycare!!!!!!!????????
