"5 Star" North Carolina Rating.  Providing quality child care for Mt View residents since 1988.  Our "5 Star" North Carolina rating is the result of on-going annual and periodic qualification standards.  Our teacher education level is superior with many in the NC Teach Program which provides paid college tuition and time off from the Center.  A more educated teacher is a better teacher.  Coupled with our modern facility, commercial kitchen, materials, and inventory,..... your child is in a quality care atmosphere.  Our logo  "It's all about the Kids!!!".  Summer program children are presented with TenderCare logo shirts for easy identification on field trips.  Bright tye dyed shirts stand our for easy recognition.  Let us provide care to ease your mind while you work thru your day!

Additional Information:

Five Star Center License, operating in Mt View since Sep 1988.  Many of our teachers have been on staff over 10 years with some since we opened!  Very large playground enclosed in 8 foot fence.  Large facility with age appropriate classrooms, two large infant rooms!  2 buses for school age programs.  How can we be of assistance to your today!  Located on Hwy 127 South that feeds into Hickory City.

The monthly playground inspection for May 2023 was missing from the program records. The administrator conducted an inspection of the playgrounds today and completed a playground inspection form to correct this violation today.

The Prevention of Shaken Baby Syndrome and Abusive Head Trauma policy was not reviewed with parents of currently enrolled children 0-5 within 30 days of adopting the policy. The acknowledgement statement for the Prevention of Shaken Baby Syndrome and Abusive Head Trauma policy signed and dated by the parent for three out of the ten child files randomly selected and reviewed were missing the date the child was enrolled in the facility and the date the policy was given to the parent.

In Space 1, Goo Gone non-aerosol spray was stored in an unlocked cabinet above five (5) feet. In Space 2 and 8, two (2) aerosol cans of disinfecting spray were stored in an unlocked cabinet above five (5) feet.
