The mission of Stepping Stones Preschool is to provide a high quality education for 3-5 year olds with an emphasis on parent involvement. Stepping Stones Preschool is an early childhood education program designed to nurture the development of the whole child. Preschool activities are selected to stimulate intellectual, physical, social, emotional, and pre-academic growth, and promote the child's abilities in the areas of listening, following directions, concentrating, remembering, and expressing increasingly complex ideas. Creativity and self-expression are encouraged to build the child's confidence as a creator. The emphasis is on process over product.

I sent all three of my kids to Stepping Stones! I've loved the co-op option, so as a parent I can be more involved in the classroom and get to know the other students and parents. It is a wonderful mix of child-led and teacher-led learning, prepping them for kindergarten. They do sign language, Spanish, drama, yoga and other extras that you may not get at other places. The field trips, special visitors and big indoor gym are other big advantages.
