I remained honest and transparent about our struggles we had child/parent wise plus Volunteered for parenting classes and then received judgement and snarky comments. I first noticed the same behavior during home visits when we 1st began the program. I cancelled visits due to it( after several visits) then decided to try again and enroll my daughter into the classroom. I had self recognized that I could probably take more time to go through pages of reading with my daughter and then later had it thrown in my face that I wasn’t taking enough time with homework and also ridiculed for “helping” her with homework. Many things seemed to be insinuated instead of insightful. My daughter also referred to her teachers as mean miss Megan and nice Ms. Megan all year. Along with another teacher that wasn’t nice. I got unprofessional vibes and I hate to say felt discriminated against for reasons unknown.
