Behaven Kids is a Specialized Day Program for very young children (ages 2 to 8) with moderate to severe or chronic behavior issues. Children attend the day center Monday through Friday, in a typical day care or preschool setting. Highly qualified staff work with each individual family to develop a plan to help change behaviors that are interfering with a child's success at home, preschool, or community. Most children are able to transition back to their "home" preschool or early grade school classroom in about 12 weeks. Long-term success rates average 96%. Staffing ratios are 1:4.
