I have been with Ms. Kay off and on for 2 years now. The only reason I left in early 2017 was because I got a job in the city and was also moving and wanted something more convenient. Well let me tell you, convenience isn't always the better choice. After almost exactly 1 year away, I not only brought my toddler back, but also my infant daughter. I trust Ms. Kay and her staff. My 3 year old used to dread going to the other sitter. She would cry a lot of mornings or just say she'd rather go to her Grandma's. Well since she's been back at Kay Cares, she asks me every morning, "Mommy, am I going to Ms. Kay's?" and I say yes. Her response is ALWAYS "YAAAAAY!". That makes me so so happy. Even when her baby sister didn't go with her she was still excited, when at the other sitter she would be unhappy. My daughter flourished here from age 2 to 3 and she and my youngest will continue to do so from now, for years to come.
Thanks Ms. Kay!
This is a fantastic daycare. Child development comes first. My son has been there for 2 years now and he gets better. He's social skills are amazing and for a 2 yr old he acts like a 4yr old and everybody sees it.The environment is clean and I give Kaycares kudos when it comes to the wellness of the kids. And she is so helpful when it comes to taking care of my child the days I'm working late. Thank you kaycares
On February 2nd I received a text message from the above anonymous writer. This parent wanted information that has already been given to his child's mother. I explained to this father to please have his child mother call me so I could confirm it was ok to release the information requested, and everything went down hill from there. This parent became rude and belligerent. He called me all kinds of names and said he would ruin me by writing a review. I'm only explaining all this so people don't believe everything they read. Please come out to our facility and check us out for yourselves. Kaycares has been in operation for 10 years and never had a negative review. We are not perfect and can't please everyone but we try to please our parents. We are licensed and inspected by the state of Maryland. We would not be in operation if all the above allegation were true. We have an open door policy and welcome you all. Thank you for reading....
My experience has been an awesome experience. I had my daughter in 2011 and after having a bad experience at another daycare, Ms Kay took in my baby girl when she was just 7 months old. Being a new mother, I didn't have a clue of what to do some times and she always helped me through my struggles. Being a military mom on top of that, I had to leave my baby with her one weekend a month which was stressful in itself but I didn't worry because my baby girl was always treated like one of the family. I never worried about my daughter’s care because I knew she was in a clean and loving place. What daycare can you go to and the first thing a child does is take their shoes off. That’s what you call a home. My daughter stayed with Ms Kay until she was two when I had to move to my next duty station. My daughter learned how to talk, walk, she was potty trained and she learned her numbers and letters by the time we moved to out next assignment. On my daughter’s last day at Ms Kay, my husband went to pick her up to bring her to me at my new duty station. Ms Kay was heartbroken that I had to take one of her babies away and I was heartbroken that I had to take her away. I don’t care what anyone says but Kaycares has taught me how to become a better mother and I know even three years later, if I need advice I can still go to her and will not be turned away.
