At Discovery Corner I focus on the whole child socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually. Young children thrive in environments that create routine along with creativity. Routines offer learning opportunities about children, others and the world around them. Creativity makes life interesting and fulfilling. It is a way of embracing originality and it makes us all unique.
I strive to provide a safe, caring, comfortable, enjoyable environment full of learning opportunities in my home. Each child is unique; therefore, activities will be ever- changing to meet your child’s changing interests and needs.
While in my care your child will be able to participate in group time, story time and special craft activities. Special outside learning activities will be introduced when they fit with the curriculum. I believe that kids need to have time to play outside every day, weather permitting of course.
I know that your child will love coming to my home and I look forward to growing and learning from your child as well.
