For the safety of all the children in my care, I do NOT accept children that are not or will not be immunized. I am licensed to care for up to 12 children. Of the 12, only three can be under the age of 2. No more than 10 can be under school age. You would need to have backup daycare for non-emergency situations. I do have an emergency replacement for myself if the need arises.
Katie's Kiddos - since I was very young I have really enjoyed spending time with kids. I worked in a daycare down the street in high school, was a camp counselor with Goodhue County 4-H, active with the church youth group, an since college I have worked with kids and adults with varying special needs. My previous job before opening my in-home daycare was managing a group home where four young men on the Autism Spectrum lived. I always enjoyed the fact that every day is different; daycare will continue that for me. As a child care provider my main goal is to provide a safe and happy place where children can laugh, learn, and grow. I love watching children grow physically, emotionally, intellectually, and socially at their own pace.
