I have my Master's degree in Education and have been involved with schools, teaching, daycares and early childhood programs for over 10 years. My husband and I recently moved to Apple Valley and have a wonderful home we would like to open our business in. Teaching Philosophy:

I believe that children learn best in literacy rich environments through play and hands on experiences. The Mother Goose Curriculum we offer focusses on learning that develops the child as a whole looking at social, emotional, physical and intelectual development. We offer a fun and rich learning environment with manipulatives, BOOKS, themed units, Spanish, group lessons, stories, self-guided play, music and movement, arts enrichment, crafts, science, math, language development and more. My goal is to guide children into the world with a sense of respect for self, others, and to develop a life long love of learning.

Happy and full of love, this is how I like to explain the children in my care.  I have been blessed with so many sweet children over the past year and a half, and I am not sure where that time has gone, but I do know that I have seen children bloom like flowers in my garden.  We are a family of little people Monday thru Friday and when the weekend arrives, I am so ready for a break, but when I am in their environment on the weekend , cleaning, planning, reflecting, etc, I miss my children and I see them everywhere. It is the best career choice ever for me, and I truly love this JOB?  Yes I work hard, but it is what I enjoy and the energy from the children is all positive.   I like to call our daycare area Patootieville, and it is truly the childrens home away from home. 

I am a huge believer in health and nutrition.  We eat healthy and get great exercise daily and are involed in hands on - learning. interacting with the children allows me teach them every second of every day, and they teach me how to teach them by reminding me that the imagination in a child's mind is magic.
