I am a teacher at Jellybean Junction. I have worked here since 2017. It is a great place to work. The teachers all work great together to create a healthy learning environment for our children. The Director/ Owner, Mrs. Beth Calhoun has the children of our centers best interest at heart. She goes above and beyond to help meet her employees needs. We are all one big extended family, at Jellybean Junction Preschool/Daycare.
Jellybean Junction is a GREAT place to send your children. Your child will enjoy the many fun-filled activities. Our Jellybean teachers make learning an exciting experience for our babies! I highly recommend Jellybean Junction to anyone looking for AWESOME CHILDCARE!
One of the employees left my friend's daughter outside during the middle of the day and only came back to get her when the other children asked where the child was. They also hire employees who have a previous history of beating their own children. When this issue was brought to the attention of the owner, she insisted her employees not report it as to not lose one of her own employees. The employee who left my friend's daughter outside has been fired twice in the past for cussing in front of children but was rehired for an unknown reason. Former employees have often told me of harassment between the teachers within the facility which leads to a hostile work environment ultimately leading to them leaving for better opportunities. The owner is aware of such issues but fails to protect her employees and sometimes adds to the rumors floating around the center only making the environment more toxic. I would strongly suggest no one put their children in this center and completely discourage them from trying to work here. This center needs to be investigated for negligence and at the very least needs a completely new team to operate it.
