i worked at this day care back in 2011 and the director was awful she put people down always broke state guide lines teachers were always promised raises but never received i bought furniture for all the rooms with my paycheck never got reimbursed like promised was the only income for my family but used to help furnish stuff since things were limited debbie took all my teaching things while i was away to use for another teacher when i left i took all my supplies and things i bought she was mad because she said other teachers could use i said no because i bought with my own money told her to let the teachers bu=y there own stuff she paid her sons friend who worked there more money and let him come and go as he pleased she always left and would return several hours later state showed up and i and another teacher was left there with 30 kids between us tried to get a hold of her to tell her they needed to see her she never would answer her phone she came back after they left and yelled at us teachers for letting them in sick place to work she always depended on teachers to do things a director is suppose to do but didn't do pretty sad
I had a job interview at this daycare and was so disappointed in the director Debbie. During the interview I spoke of my son who has an intellectual disability and she said the kids there his age are mean and call each other the r word (retarded) I told her we do not use that word and she said our son would be made fun of there. Then as interview went in she told me I needed to have my immunizations up to date cause a pregnant lady could come in and get measles and her child would come out retarded!!! I was so upset and left in tears that someone can work with children and speak such horrible things about children that go there! I feel for all children and families under her care!!! Something needs to be done!
