Description: Hillcrest Elementary School was built in 1948 and is currently home to approximately 380 students in Pre-K through 5th grade. Hillcrest is made up of a diverse student population and is currently a Title 1 school. Title 1 funding allows Hillcrest to help meet the needs of students by providing additional support and technology that may otherwise not be available. Classes at Hillcrest typically have no more than 19 students. All classrooms K-5 have a Promethean Board (interactive whiteboard) which provides additional tools and support for student learning. Hillcrest welcomes parent evolvement and would like to encourage you to contact the parent evolvement coordinator (Mrs. Macadoo) to find out how you can support your student in his/her education.
