My experience with Eileen was not good and did not start out well. She accepted an appointment from me to tour her home and meet with her and failed to show up. Once she did finally meet with us she indicated her infant opening would be in January, then when I reached out to her to confirm the January opening which. We intended to take, she told me that it was actually in September but that I could pay her a deposit and 1/2 the weekly rate until I returned to work to hold my spot, which I agreed to do. I was told I could use drop in care as needed during that time as well. When it came time for me to use her for drop in care, she ignored my texts for 2 days finally responding to let me know that I could not use her for drop in care the day I needed because she had another drop in that day to “make up for money she was missing out on because she was holding a spot for me.” When I was finally able to get a firm day for drop in care, she contacted me to let me know she had an outbreak of whooping cough and proceeded to tell me exactly who the offending child was. I arranged for other daycare after that and told Eileen to remove my hold and return my deposit, which she agreed to do. After multiple calls and texts Eileen has not returned my money and has ignored my requests. She is untruthful, undependable and unreliable. I would not recommend her as a daycare provider.
