We have had our 3 year old at this daycare for 3 years and have seen and or heard of many unacceptable situations and circumstances. The first is that on any given day the facility is understaffed and the teacher to child ratio rules are not followed in any way. There has been multiple events that have lead to this review including teachers leaving the children unattended, teachers using illegal drugs while watching the children, and the basic cleanliness and condition of the facility are terrible. We instantly removed our children from the facility when we found our 3 month old sleeping in a swing unbuckled with a thick blanket purposefully draped over her and in direct contact with her face. At face value things appear to be ok at the facility but if you look into the food prep area or break room and other “tucked away” areas of the facility you will find many hazards. We have friends that had their children at a different compass preschool location and they have also had similar experiences. I would do everything possible to avoid these daycare facilities. The company is a revolving door of employees. That said, there are a handful of fantastic teachers at the facilities but the owner, Andrea does not and will not provide them with the proper resources to effectively do their jobs.
