Description: The Burrier Child Development Center (BCDC) is a licensed Type 1 Child Care Center and is an accredited early childhood program through the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
The purposed of this program is to provide two half-day early childhood experiences for preschool children and their families. It is utilized by the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences to provide pre-service learning experiences for Child and Family Studies Students.
Learning opportunities are designed to emphasize the development of the whole child; socially, emotionally, physically, intellectually, linguistically, and creatively. Equally important are the learning experiences for adults who strive to support the growth and development of all children in the most appropriate environment with individual adaptions.
