Cannery Row Preschool offers Gymnastics to our children on Wednesdays, music class on Mondays, swim lessons on Tuesdays. We teach basic sign language and Spanish starting in the infant room. We use the My Baby Can Read Program and have had huge success with it. We have class pictures twice a year. Once in the spring and once in the fall that can be used as Holiday pictures, offered through Johnson Photography. We have a pre-k test that we give our four year olds. This test tells us what we need to focus on to get your child ready for school. This test was developed by compiling several tests throughout Missouri. We accept state assistance. We are on the Missouri Food Program. We are licensed and received surprise visits from Health, Sanitation, and Fire throughout the year. We have successfully passed all unannounced visits. We have a loving relationship with each of our children. We do not yell or punish. That can be done at home. We teach the children respect and caring. We feel if we are harsh with the children they will be harsh to others. The children have also enjoyed their field trips to the Corn Maze and going to McDonald's on early release days.
