My son has been enrolled with Yadkin Path a year and a half now. I did not NEED childcare since my children can come to work with me since I own my own business but I originally enrolled him in the play school since I was about to give birth to my second child and figured it would be good for both of us. My son LOVES school. He tells me everyday about his friends and what he does at school. He started at Yadkin Path when he was just over 18 months old and was barely talking and now he has such a huge vocabulary and learns so much there. Now my daughter (18 months) has started school with her big brother and she was SO ready. She walked right in with her big brother on her first day, no crying or protesting! I was so happy and I am so glad my children are apart of the Yadkin Path family.
Our Daughter was enrolled at Yadkin Path for little over 4 months. There were multiple occasions where my daughter was not cleaned well, until one day she came home bleeding and still having some left over poop as if though they didn't bother cleaning her. This resulted in an emergency room visit. Doctor ruled it "vulvovaginitis" caused by bacteria from not being cleaned well. I brought up the concern to Myra, the school directer and she immediately disregarded the negligence of her employees and decided to blame the wipes for not being organic. Not once did she apologize or acknowledge the situation but blamed it on something else. Apparently they leave toddlers to clean themselves and not check if they are clean enough. My daughter was 14 months at the time. I also found my daughter outside in wet muddy socks in her boots on various occasions in the 40 degrees weather. She also had no jacket on even though she had a jacket, gloves and hat in her bag at the time. Whenever I asked why she has no socks on, the teachers would respond with "I didn't see any" but there were at least 3 clean pairs of socks inside her bag. They were just being lazy. Most of the time they handed my daughter over with no socks. Sometimes shoes on the wrong feet. Sometimes with no shoes since that was too hard for them to do. I brought up the concern again about not cleaning my daughter well but that only resulted in retaliation. I have filed several complaints with the state already. They have a very hard time retaining employees. They are basically going under and now seeking subsidies from the government. On our last week with them, I had made my daughter a peanut butter and grape jelly sandwich as part of her lunch and they denied my daughter her lunch because they thought it was strawberry. At no point did they try reaching out to me to clarify any issues but instead sent a nasty email later that day. I told the teacher that it wasn't strawberry and she responded with the usual "well I don't know, I wasn't there" answer. The next day I told Kaitlyn the assistant director that the sandwich I made was not strawberry but she just gave me an attitude as if though she doubted me. That day again they denied my daughter her food which I had provided for her. We gave our two weeks notice per our contract but Myra decided to dismiss us right away and violate the contract. She refused to meet with us to further discuss the issues we were having. She also took our $1000 deposit and our $1020 installment for the following month for service that was never provided. We paid for food but they only provided food for the first two weeks after my daughter was enrolled. Every week there was a different change. I highly recommend going elsewhere. I feel this facility is poorly ran and they tend to be very unprofessional when you bring up any concern you have. Before I enrolled my daughter I had ignored a similar review from a few years ago, now I totally regret it. Don't bring your child here.
