Description: Each year Goddard Riverside serves more than 3,000 children and youth through school-based, after-school, evening and weekend programs. The majority of children and youth in our programs come from low-income families who live in the surrounding neighborhood. Our programs provide safe, structured activities and the chance to interact with positive role models. We also engage whole families by offering information, encouragement and support to parents.
As a multi-service settlement house, we can give young people the continuity they need. Some children begin by attending one of our preschool programs and stay involved with us during elementary, middle, and high school. It is common for parents to have been in our programs as children, and we are often engaged with extended family networks.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.
