Description: The childcare program is designed to provide a safe, loving environment for children from single parent homes or homes where both parents work and care is needed between the hours of 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. Children in this program received all the educational benefits of those in the preschool program plus more. Since education is such an important ingredient of our learning center, the classes from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm are divided into the same age groups and receive the same instruction as students in our preschool program. Our babies receive a lot of nuturing as they explore their expanding world. There are a lot of opportunities for exercise, large muscle development and sensory stimulation through crawling, walking, and exploring. Communication is also being developed through speech and sign language.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.

I am a Kindergarten teacher at UCiC and a parent of 2 children that attend UCiC childcare. UCiC has students from babies that are a couple months old to 6th grade. Next year they will have a 7th grade.
Classroom sizes for Elementary classes are a max of 15 students.
UCiC has Chapel every Thursday from 9:30 to 10:00. 15 minutes of worship and 15 minutes of a Bible message. Each grade gets several chances to have their class do worship and deliver the message.
Our students go to P.E., Music, Spanish, Art, and Library.
All students get logins for Raz-Kids (reading), and IXL (math).
Every Tuesday and Thursday the students have tutoring from their teacher afterschool.
We teach Bible everyday in all grades.
We have a spelling bee every year.
The teachers here are amazing. They are always sending me pictures and messages. I love the monthly newsletter. Several days I have come to pick up my child from childcare with her hair all done up in braids. I know that she is loved and cared for. The teachers do an amazing job making me feel involved.
We have an amazing Principal that even teaches Spanish classes once a week. He cares deeply about his staff, students, and students families.
The staff has a daily morning prayer. We take time to pray for each other and our school.
I would highly recommend UCiC to families that are looking for smaller classrooms, and more one on one time with the teacher.
