Findings: The Department of Public Safety was contacted via the website and written documentation indicated that Staff #3 (start date 8-24-11) fingerprint clearance card expired 7-29-17. Staff #1 stated that Staff #3 applied for a fingerprint clearance card and an FBI background check was completed. Staff #3 received a Level One Clearance card for another program instead of the required Level One Clearance card for child care. Staff #3 was not aware that the background checks were different. Staff #1 stated that Staff #3 returned to work when the child care program opened in August 2017. | |||
