I am an employee

I worked here from 2015 until July of this year and I enjoyed it. The children are amazing and the staff was pretty decent. The owner really does try his best to make the daycare better. The food is lackluster but there are highlights to it. The food is about the same you get in school but that's all through the state government and their requirements for food. The review above fails to explain that if you visit, you would see that the school-age classroom does have a window but it's used for the second air conditioner. The daycare is in a basement but despite that, it is well lit, air conditioned and heated whenever needed. It may not be the best in the city but the owner is trying his best to make it better. And for the record, I personally tried to teach the older children things and while I was there, I helped them projects like learning Korean and making dreamcatchers. It is not completely the teacher's fault if the child doesn't learn because I've met a lot of resistance when trying to show them something that they don't need a phone to do.

I have used this provider for less than 6 months

2018 Summer Camp Teachable moments.. Worst mistake sending my child there.. They send home this exciting & educational Internary that they suppose 2 follow 4 the summer regarding all the trips & activities they're suppose 2b doing... My Child started there n June... it's now august & this whole summer they only took the kids on 1 trip!! After paying weekly trip dues.. Week after week they cancelled the trips with a poor excuses & didn't even refund none of the trip money!! Items were stolen from my Child back pack.. And after complaining 2 the office about it they acted as if they didn't even care.. Inside the building is old & worn down.. My Child complains about the can food they keep feeding them 4 lunch every day & giving them tap water from the faucet 2 drink... I was told they would attend educational projects on Drexel college campus..That was a lie!!! From what my child tells me they jus sit n a class room which has no windows & color or make things with paper.. I regret ever sending my child there.. But after trying 2 find a better camp 4 him 2 attend their were no vacancies any where n my neighborhood.. So i had no choice but 2 keep them there because I had 2 go 2 work..But after these last 2wks of camp I will not be returning there & definitely won't b referring this place 2 any1 else.. I won't b surprise if it closes down 4 good.. They also have these filthy disgusting toys outside n the play area that look like they been there 4ever.. I wish I would of went with my 1st camp choice instead of sending my child 2 teachable moments.. But u live & u learn.. Don't fall for the information stated on there flyers & website!! It's a bunch of Bull s#%t!!!!
