The mission at Sunnyside Educational Center is to provide a caring, learning and loving environment for all children. We believe that a good child care center should be an educational and enriching experience that sets the foundation for all children and that every child will be treated the same. Our goal is to help in the development of educational, social and fundamental skills that will help to Prepare children for their growing years to come.

We have the cleaniest childcare center in the area!!
Hours: Sunnyside is open from 6:00am to 7pm. We do this because it fits with the schedules of most working parents.
Ages: Sunnyside accepts infants through school age. We understand the importance of keeping siblings together so parents don't have to split them up and take them to different locations
License: Sunnyside is licensed by the state of KY with no childcare deficiencies. We meet all health and safety requirements to make sure your child is safe at all times.
Food: Sunnyside serves breakfast, lunch, and snacks in between. All meals are home cooked and meet the nutritional food guidelines for ehildeare centers in Kentucky. The meals are catered from The Children's Pantry and menus are posted weekly on the parent info board in the lobby.
Class size: Our center meets all child-to-staff ratio requirements. These small group sizes allow each staff to spend special time with each child.
Teacher training: All of Sunnyside's teachers are trained to assess each child's development and to create a unique learning plan for each individual child.
Safety: Sunnyside is safe and secure. We require a key code entry and offer a security surveillance system.
Hand washing: Sunnyside has many sinks for hand washing in order to prevent the spread of germs. Children are taught proper hand washing techniques.
SheetlBlanket: Sunnyside supplies sheets and blankets for all children. We have laundry facilities to keep everything clean.
Cleaning: Sunnyside maintains cleanliness at all times. We also have a cleaning company for weekend cleaning.
Water fountain: Sunnyside has a water fountain with a filtration system that only provides purified water to the children.
Playground: Sunnyside has a great playground and patio area for our child to play and enjoy the outside.
Curriculum: Sunnyside provides an academic curriculum Teaching Strategies for children of all ages. We offer Basic Spanish, Baby Sign Language, and Art lessons. We have a different theme each week which will include a different letter, number, color, shape, etc. We send home Friday Folders with all of the child's work for that week, along with a classroom newsletter and lesson plan for the following week.
We have raised the bar for all childcare centers in the area.

My infant was crying all the time when i watched cameras. No one loved on her, feed her late or not at all. Only 3 infants there. Owner very disrespectful and didnt care if we left. Staff was always screaming in room across from nursery. Just didnt feel like kids were being treated nice. Sorry but I would never go back.
