I observed the child putting the toy bunch of grapes into their mouth and then returning it back to the basket of other pretend food toys for continued play. The staff member did not remove the toy from play to be cleaned and sanitized. In space #1b, during group art, I observed a child picking up the chalk and putting it in their mouth and then putting the chalk back down on the table for continued use.
