Description:
Our mission is to provide an inclusive, faith based, education where children are nurtured by caring professionals in a safe environment utilizing developmentally appropriate curriculum with a focus on the whole child.
Inclusive: Because Jesus welcomed all children
Faith Based: Sharing the love that Jesus has for the world with children daily, teaching them how to communicate with God in prayer, and celebrating together in weekly chapel.
Education: Facilitating learning for all children through a variety of experiences and play.
Nurtured: Because there is a difference in supervising children and truly nurturing and caring for them.
Caring Professionals: Setting high expectations for our staff to implement best practices.
Safe Environment: With strong security in place to keep children safe in all circumstances.
Developmentally Appropriate: Utilizing a balance between large group, small group, 1:1, and individual activities.
Whole Child: Nurturing each child’s spiritual, social, emotional, physical and cognitive development.
We envision a program that welcomes to Christ’s love all households and children regardless of their cultures and needs and provides the children with cognitive, emotional, physical, spiritual and social tools for growth as a foundation for success in school as well as life.

Alehouse Sanford continues to provide a wonderful atmosphere. It is the place to go after your kids sport events and a terrific date night location with their great menu selection. My fav is the fajitas.
My child attended Stepping Stones Longwood for 2 years. She loved her teachers and always came home happy. She was very well prepared for kindergarten. The teachers were very open and easy to get along with. I highly recommend this preschool.
What a GREAT and LOVING Place! The Teachers are so caring and my children loves the warmth from them. It is a small class size and ratio so your child really gets the attention needed. The Director is outstanding and is willing to help out anyway! I would highly recommend Stepping Stones! Thank you!
My youngest attended Stepping Stones from 6 months - VPK. The facility was a great fit for our daughter and partnered with our family every step of the way. We had great attention from caring staff and especially loved the small classes. We only wish it had been open when our youngest was in preschool!
Please be cautious about where and whom you leave your children with.
My child was attending stepping stones for a short time. She started having severe distress around people she had been with since birth immediately after a few full days at SS. When I went to speak with the director, I was shocked that she didn't say "lets speak with the teacher" but she told me that if I was concerned to "take my child to the doctor". I didn't think anything major happened, maybe a disagreement with another child? Still the director's response was not a normal and came across as heartless. I knew this school was not for us.
